Crayon Collection
Beginning on June 2nd, we are participating with the Crayon Initiative to gather used crayons. They recycle old and broken crayons to create new ones, keeping thousands out of landfills. The crayons are melted down and remanufactured into large three sided crayons that are easy for children to grip, and do not roll. Free crayons are sent to children’s hospitals. Don’t have any crayons? Ask neighbors, grandchildren, teachers, or restaurants who offer crayons to keep children busy!
$5 Side Door Suppers
Side door suppers are back so come join us. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides will be ready at 5pm but drop in anytime until 7pm to visit and enjoy a casual meal! Check the HUB to sign-up and to purchase tickets at the door.

Bag Recycling Project
Because of the overwhelming success, we will continue collecting clean, gently used, re-usable bags. We will donate some of them to the ACUA who actually prepares the bags for reuse, others will go to the food banks. This low-effort, zero-dollar campaign promises a triple-win: the food programs will save on buying bags, bags will stay out of the landfill, and households that need bags will receive them with their food. We have a collection box in the church. Please don’t buy new bags for this effort!
Vacation Bible School
On August 1st and 2nd we will be holding a Vacation Bible School at OHPC. Dinner will be served. Look for the sign up sheets soon on the HUB.
Bible Study
Come join us for PW Sacred Encounters Bible Study.
Bible Study will resume in the Fall. Check the bulletin and E News for the September start date.
Daytime group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 10am at church.
Evening group meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6pm at church.

Food Distribution
Volunteers are needed for food distribution at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Pleasantville.
We meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 8am and distribute food from the Community Food Bank to over 150 families.

Come Join Us...
Heart and Soul, a group focused on deepening and broadening our spirituality. The group meets at 10am on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month for approximately 90 minutes and explores Art and the Scriptures.
